Adele provides regular teaching and training workshops in Usui Reiki (Usui Reiki Ryoho) and Holy Fire Reiki to all levels from Reiki I through to Reiki Master/Teacher level. Mentorship, refresher and CPD workshops available for all levels of Reiki. Teaching and training can be on a one-to-one basis or in a group.
Reiki I - £175 (1 day)
Reiki level I is primarily for self-healing although the new Reiki healer, by placing their hands on another person, becomes a channel for the Reiki energy to be received by the other person. This workshop introduces you to the Reiki Energy, the history of Reiki, it's uses and hand positions for self healing and offering healing opportunities to friends and family. The main emphasis of the workshop is gaining practical, hands-on experience working with the Reiki Energy and how it blends with your own unique energy which will enable you to work with Reiki in a confident and personal way. With this aim in mind there will be plenty of opportunity to practice working with Reiki and how it blends with your energy throughout the workshop. Tuition is supported by the Reiki I Manual, Reiki Level I Certificate and follow up guidance and support if required.
Reiki II - £200 (1 day)
This workshop will considerably increase the amount of healing energy as well as the power and depth of healing sessions. Students receive 3 Reiki symbols which will increase the power and depth of Reiki treatments in general and also further introduce you to using Reiki for mental/emotional healing and distant healing. The main emphasis of the workshop is gaining practical, hands-on experiences - so there will be plenty of opportunity to practice working with the Reiki Energy throughout the workshop. Students are taught how to use the symbols and how to treat at Practitioner level, including hand positions used in treatments, Byosen scanning, and how to send healing Reiki to someone who is not physically present - known as distant healing. Also covered in this workshop is advice about setting up in business, volunteering, insurance cover and membership of professional organisations. Tuition is supported by a Reiki II Manual and follow up guidance, support and mentorship if required. Students will receive their Reiki II Practitioner Certificate
Reiki III or Advanced Reiki/Reiki Master - £275 (1 day)
Going deeper again, and for those wishing to share and teach Reiki to others, this attunement is a precious and wonderful gift to receive and a powerful, uplifting experience. This workshop will teach experienced Reiki Practitioners how to attune others to the Reiki Energy. The experienced Reiki Healer experiences a further increase in the ability to channel the Reiki energy and healing ability reaches a higher level. Students are introduced to the Reiki Master Symbol and two further Japanese Reiki symbols which further increase the power of the other Reiki symbols. The emphasis of the workshop is on gaining practical, hands-on experience giving attunements and holding space for workshops, therefore plenty of time will be given to students to practice the attunement procedure. Topics included in the workshop will be guided by student's needs and requirements but can include advice about holding Reiki Shares, Reiki meditations, business practice, and more advanced Reiki practices. Time permitting, other aspects of using Reiki will be covered including working with crystals, using a Reiki Grid, and space clearing. The main emphasis of the workshop is gaining practical, hands-on experience - so there will be plenty of opportunity to practice working with the Reiki Energy at an advanced level throughout the workshop. Tuition is supported by Reiki III Manual, Certificate and follow up guidance, support and mentorship if required.
Many students prefer 1-2-1 teaching at a date and time that's convenient rather than take part in a group workshop, so please do contact Adele if you'd prefer 1-2-1 tuition or tuition outwith the advertised dates.
Reiki Mentorship - half or full day mentorship available from £80
Reiki mentorship is open to anyone wishing to gain more experience, knowledge or confidence in their Reiki practice.. If you have been attuned to Reiki either by Adele or by a another Reiki Master and you'd like to repeat any of the Reiki levels, or would like an update or opportunity to practice, increase your confidence, or revise and enhance your skills, do contact Adele to chat about options available to you. Previous Reiki tuition must have been face-to-face. If you've received your attunements via an on-line workshop or distance teaching all workshop fees will be payable in full.

Adele's Reiki Journey
Adele's Reiki Journey began in 1997 when she began working with Aromatherapy, Reflexology and Massage. Adele and her clients became aware of treatments feeling profoundly relaxing and 'different', Adele couldn't offer any explanation for this difference and decided that as long as the treatments felt relaxing, and that the 'difference' was a good difference she was happy to continue. In 2000, after learning about Reiki Energy and meeting with Reiki Master Teacher Jennifer Niven, Adele received her attunements to the Reiki Energy and began working with Reiki in a more conscious way. After working with the Reiki Energy for some time, Adele was attuned to Reiki Master Teacher Level and began teaching Reiki in 2002. Since then Adele has shared Reiki in both private and public organisations. Adele has worked in many clinical settings including her time as a hospice nurse where she was Lead Therapist. In her private practice, Adele has offered Reiki treatments, taught and attuned many students to enable them to connect with and share Reiki.
As a Reiki Master Teacher Adele aims to empower her students to connect with the Reiki Energy and to feel comfortable and confident working with the Energy for self-healing, as well as treating and assisting in the healing others. Adele offers Reiki teaching workshops to all levels of Reiki (Reiki I, II, III and Master Teacher levels) and offers on-going support and mentorship to her students.

About Reiki
Reiki is a Japanese word which simply means Universal Life Energy. The Japanese call this energy Ki. It is also known as Chi by the Chinese, and Prana by some Asian cultures. Many successful disciplines such as Reiki, Tai Chi, Yoga and Acupuncture have been developed to control and greatly enhance the flow of this energy. This universal life force flows and radiates through every cell in the living body, however this life force can be depleted, blocked or weakened by modern day lifestyles, resulting in tension, insomnia, migraine, negativity, depression and many other conditions. When this energy or life force is allowed to flow unencumbered it fills the body with a profound sense of well-being - healing, repairing and rejuvenating as it goes. Reiki is a simple technique for transferring this healing energy.
With its origins in India and the East dating back many thousands of years, the original name, disciplines and techniques of Reiki were lost due to the traditional method of passing knowledge from generation to generation by word of mouth. Exactly when this ancient art of healing disappeared is difficult to determine. However, we do know that it was rediscovered by a Japanese Scholar and monk name Dr Mikao Usui. It was in fact Dr Usui who fashioned the name Reiki.
Reiki is a completely safe, natural and holistic treatment which works on many levels - psychological, emotional, physical and spiritual. Since Reiki works on each person's own energy levels it can bring about profound changes in people's lives.
Reiki is carried out by the practitioner placing his/her hands over the fully clothed body - touch is not necessary in a Reiki treatment. Treatment may last up to 1 hour. Reiki works well with other therapies and has been seen to enhance the efficacy of other treatments.
